Dedication to Daddy

On some days more than others I miss my Mom&Dad. Notice how they're "one unit" -Mom&Dad- not Mom & Dad.....
My Dad used to tell us the most outrageous rhymes and ditties....Mother was famous for her 'off the cuff' nursery rhymes.
Below is one of Daddy's Ditties....

**Early in the morning, when the wind was still,
A lovely little Nightingale perched on my window sill

When done with song, a moments lull,

My parents were free spirits in a generation that frowned on 'tree huggers'. They weren't hippies but by the same token they allowed my Brother & I to be exactly who we are. Without judgement. With encouragement.

I wish I could find the strength to 'post' something for my Mother, but even though its been 2 years, the pain is too much.

Today has been rough.
